#FBF to our National Meeting in California! We look forward to this gathering each year as an opportunity to celebrate connections with colleagues and the life-changing impact of our work. During this year’s meeting, attendees had the opportunity to create care packages as part of the Hopeful Hearts Service Project for Camp Del Corazon, a nonprofit providing year-round experiences for children and young adults living with congenital #heartdisease. We recently heard from Chrissie Endler, Executive Director at Camp del Corazon, who shared their excitement about this initiative: “We can't wait to share these gifts with our graduating campers. We hope this will be an encouraging and empowering sendoff for them as they phase out of being campers, and step into young adulthood!”

It’s #NationalVolunteerWeek, and to celebrate, we sat down with our VP of Corporate Communications and Chief of Staff Linda Lennox to reflect on her volunteer experiences and the importance of #givingback to our local communities.
Linda has proudly served on the American Heart Association’s Greater Boston Board of Directors since 2021 and passionately participates in patient-centric initiatives such as the Boston Heart Walk and our Annual Charity Golf Tournament.
