Grants and charitable partnerships
As part of our commitment to supporting medical, educational and philanthropic initiatives, we’ve established grants and charitable contributions programs. We also believe in expanding scientific understanding and new research ideas on marketed products, which is why we’ve created a Research Grants/Investigator Sponsored Trial (IST) program. All grants and contributions are awarded at Lantheus’ sole discretion.
Where we focus our support
Our 2026 funding priorities support our purpose to Find, Fight and Follow disease to deliver better patient outcomes. We consider requests that align with one or more of the following focus areas.
Patient impact
Patient advocacy, disease awareness and independent scientific and clinical education in oncology, neurology and cardiology—helping us go further for the patients we serve.
Community investment
Civic initiatives in and around our Lantheus offices that allow us to engage with our communities and strengthen the places where our people live and work.
Healthcare access and awareness
Initiatives that make science and healthcare more understandable, accessible and relevant to the broader public, advancing care beyond the clinic.

Medical and research grants
Independent medical education grants
Lantheus provides grants to support independent, science-based education for healthcare professionals. Eligible activities may include accredited medical education, scientific meetings and peer-reviewed publications. All programs must be objective, evidence-driven, free from commercial influence and consistent with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and industry standards. We do not fund promotional or non-scientific activities.

- Unmet needs diagnosing prostate cancer
- Unmet needs imaging prostate cancer patients through the patient journey
- Practical considerations for PSMA PET agent selection, implementation and operational integration in clinical practice
- Role of PSMA PET in patient selection, treatment planning and monitoring within evolving prostate cancer therapeutic paradigms
- Multidisciplinary use of PSMA PET across specialties (e.g., urology, medical oncology and radiation oncology)
- Addressing unmet needs in echocardiography and cardiac imaging
- Integrating UEAs and CEUS into routine clinical practice
- Incorporating CEUS into liver, renal and point-of-care diagnostic assessment
- Understanding diagnostic value as well as clinical limitations of available fluid and imaging biomarkers
- Alzheimer’s disease diagnostic pathway
- Role of β-amyloid and tau PET in Alzheimer’s disease in the context of available therapies
- Role (or understanding clinical value) of quantification in amyloid PET
- Emerging diagnostic and therapeutic agents and their integration into clinical practice

Medical education grants
Investigator sponsored trials
Lantheus provides grants to support clinical, pre-clinical, retrospective or health economic and outcomes research study proposals involving a marketed Lantheus product. Grants may be awarded for the funding of specific research protocols exploring novel applications and evidence-based clinical practice in specific areas of interest.
Areas of interest include the following
- Therapy selection and planning
- Imaging-based response assessment
- Workflow optimization
- Pre-biopsy risk stratification and/or patient selection and diagnostic pathway optimization
- Use of PSMA PET in the setting of focal therapy
- Therapeutic CEUS: sonoporation, flow augmentation and targeted delivery
- Cardiovascular CEUS: sonothrombolysis, microvascular dysfunction and perfusion
- Abdominal CEUS: lesion characterization, perfusion and EVAR surveillance
- Neurotherapeutic CEUS: BBBO, drug delivery and biomarker release
